Job Responsibilities
To support the review and development of a user-friendly national electronic Community Health Information System (eCBIS) including the finalization of the georeferenced Community health Workers Master List and Registry on the DHIS 2 platform
Support the digitalization of the finalized Competency based training modules, develop eLearning platform for the Competency Based curriculum and capacity building of the Community Health Workforce on these
Finalize the Electronic Immunization Registry linked to Birth Registration on DHIS 2 and ensure the roll out of these to all UNICEF supported counties and the linkage of the Birth Registration (BRIMS) on the DHIS2 with the National Identification Registry
Support the development of the HPV MAC campaign real time reporting database and support the design delivery and scale of Digital Interactive Platforms FunDoo for interaction with Adolescents and Young Adults in Liberia including capacity building at Community levels of Digital tools
Support the discussion and the design for the Electronic Medical Registry (EMR) as a repertoire of all Health records.
Support knowledge management for Digital Transformation in Programming, including Health Data Governance Fit for Children
Other Educational Qualification
Master’s degree in the field of information sciences or health informatics. Other academic qualifications within the fields of statistics, computer science and monitoring and evaluation will be an added advantage. Candidates with a bachelor's degree will be considered provided they have 7 years' experience instead of the minimum 5 years relevant experience.
Skills
A minimum of 5 years of Professional experience in the field of mHealth especially on the deployment of Information systems and mHealth Solutions such as decision support and client communication tools. Significant experience in providing technical assistance and thought leadership surrounding the design and implementation of digital health for system strengthening. Significant experience with project management and proven ability to translate complex ideas from various areas into unified, clear guidance is a must.Working experience with UNICEF is an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in, designing, or deploying digital health solutions for in/low resource settings. Extensive experience working with mHealth/eHealth Community.
Knowledge and experience in community health/Primary Health programme is essential.
Experience designing and supporting digital health projects with Government (Esp Ministries of Health) Knowledge and experience with DHIS2, OpenMRS,OpenHIE, IHRIS, MoTECH, CommCare,OpenSRP, etc Familiarity with open-source technology.
Experience with processing large amounts of information and synthesizing it.
Excellent working knowledge and communication in English is required.
